SHANGHAI, China, June 10 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Linkwell
Corporation (Linkwell) (OTC Bulletin Board:
LWLL -
News), a leading developer,
manufacturer and distributor of healthcare related disinfectants in China,
announced today that Mr. Xuelian Bian, Linkwell's Chairman and CEO and also
Vice President of the Shanghai Disinfection Industry Association, personally
led disinfection epidemic prevention teams into some of the worst disaster
areas of Sichuan earthquake zone. This development enlarges Linkwell's
operations, in support of China's earthquake relief efforts, as reported on
May 23, 2008.
Mr. Bian led disinfection epidemic prevention teams from Linkwell's
subsidiary, Shanghai LiKang Disinfectant Hi-Tech Co., Ltd. (LiKang
Disinfectant) to Dujiangyan City, only 12 miles from the earthquake's
epicenter at Wenchuan Yingxiu. Dujiangyan City vice mayor, Mr. Yan, who is in
charge of culture, education and health for earthquake refugees, expressed his
sincere appreciation to Mr. Bian for Linkwell's support.
The disinfection epidemic prevention team participants are all outstanding
employees of the LiKang Disinfectant, including Mr. Wensheng Sun, vice
president in charge of production and research, Mr. Shifang Yu, vice president
in charge of marketing and Mr. Arthur Huang, COO of Linkwell Corporation. Mr.
Wensheng Sun is also the director of regulation department, Shanghai
Disinfection Industry Association and has more than 10 years of disinfection
business experience. Mr. Shifang Yu previously served as chief of the
disinfection office of Shanghai Jinshan District Center for Disease Control
(CDC), and has more than 30 years of pesticides and disinfection experience.

Infestation Control and Sanitation Association. Mr. Arthur Huang is the
disinfection expert of the China Pest Infestation Control and Sanitation
Association.
At the beginning of this monumental endeavor, Mr. Bian said, ''We are the
first professional disinfection team from Shanghai. According to my previous
experience at the Department of Epidemic Study at the Second Military Medical
University, we taught that the most important operations during a
post-earthquake period are disinfection and quarantine, which best controls
infection and prevents the spread of potential epidemics. With our vast
experience in professional disinfection, our company will contribute to
preventing epidemics in the disaster and surrounding areas and help rebuild
the damaged medical disinfection and quarantine systems.''
Besides relief disinfection actions, the LiKang Disinfection team will
establish professional disinfection training classes on location, to create
local professional disinfectant teams. Instruction will include analyzing
existing and potential disaster situations and providing appropriate
disinfectant solutions. The first training will be held in Dujiangyan and
many trainings will be carried through in the several months. On hospital
infection control, LiKang will continue to apply their technical and
professional expertise in the disaster area.
LiKang Disinfection has been active in socially responsible crisis
operations for the past 20 years. Significant contributions include
disinfection operations for relief efforts following the great flood along the
Yangtze River in south central China in 1998, fighting against SARS in 2003
